Pat Beam was a young child during the war and the daughter of a Rosie the Riveter. Her mother divorced her father during the war and they faced repercussions because of that due to societal norms. Even though she was a child, Pat Beam did her part in the war effort and lessons learned through all of this shaped her views on life and happiness.
