Donald Lehman was in the army during the Korean War. His highest ranking was Private. He was born in Canton, IL on August 31st,1929. Born and raised on the farm, moved to town in 1940, and went to work for Caterpillar. Donald was in charge of a welding shop that had many old Japanese war weapons come through. Most of the vehicles that needed welding were rescue tanks. The tanks came from the front lines, which was 200+ miles away.
