George Zak tells his story of serving as a Corporal in the U.S. Army. His first battle front was in Belgium in December 1944 - the Battle of the Bulge. He survived three different camps as a prisoner of war. One story is about a train ride as a POW and one of the soldiers is singing, "Silent Night". Medals that George received are the Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge, and Prisoner of War Medal.
